PCR Rapid Test Service provided at all airports in Pakistan

PCR rapid test is a must requirement to visit the UAE

Islamabad (UAE Urdu – 13 August 2021 – Arshad Farooq Butt) Corona Rapid Test service has now been provided at all airports in Pakistan including Islamabad, Sialkot and Peshawar airports. Emirates, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has confirmed in response to a user’s question on its Twitter support account that Islamabad, Sialkot and Peshawar airports are now offering rapid PCR testing service.

According to Emirates Airlines, passengers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria and Uganda will have to complete the Covid 19 PCR Rapid Test 4 hours before departure of their flight. The airline has also stated that rapid antigen tests will not be accepted. Passengers will have to re-complete the Covid 19 PCR test upon arrival in Dubai.

The good news for Pakistanis going to the United Arab Emirates is that the federation has started supplying Pfizer vaccine to the provinces and federal units, under which one lakh doses of Pfizer vaccine are being distributed across the country.

It should be noted that Cyanoform, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sputnik and Sputnik vaccines have been included in the list of approved vaccines from the United Arab Emirates, while Cinnovac vaccine is being administered in Pakistan. In this situation, many Pakistanis waiting to go to the United Arab Emirates were questioning when the government will issue the type of vaccine approved abroad.

Pakistan Govt allocates 100,000 Pfizer doses for Pakistani Expats

Pakistan has recently received 160,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine from the United States through kovacs courier, which has begun to be distributed to the provinces and federal units. The vaccine will be given on a priority basis to Pakistani nationals traveling abroad on work and study visas.

According to top officials, the Pfizer vaccine will be administered in 15 cities across the country as only 15 cities in Pakistan have ultra-cold chain refrigerators. On the other hand, 2.5 million doses of modernas vaccine have been donated to Pakistan by the US government. US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken issued a statement on social media regarding the provision of these doses against Corona.
